Dr. Anneka Christie grew up in Los Angeles, CA and knew she wanted to be a veterinarian by the age of seven. She attended the Magnet High School program at the LA Zoo, where she gained hands-on experience caring for hippos, zebras, koalas, and more. Then became a double-Aggie from the University of California, Davis for her undergraduate and veterinary education. Following graduation, she honed her skills through a small animal rotating internship—focused on emergency and internal medicine—at Red Bank Veterinary Hospital in New Jersey.

Outside the clinic, she enjoys the outdoors whether that be on a scenic hike, snowboarding or in the garden or indoors with a good book spending time with her own beloved pets: a German Shepherd, a one-eyed cat, and a ball python.

She joined the team at Town and Country Animal Hospital in August 2024. Dr. Christie is committed to working with clients to provide the best care for their fur companions. Dr. Christie is passionate about creating a calm, comforting environment for pets and building strong, trusting relationships with each patient and their family.
